I know it's Tuesday but with the holiday yesterday it feels like Monday today, not to mention I heard that song playing in a shop yesterday and it's still stuck in my head. How does that happen? I mean you hear it for like 5 seconds and for the next 5 DAYS it's stuck in your head. I wish I could do that with the Jesus Prayer.

Over at Domestic Chicky she has "Menu Planning Mondays" going on. As part of my Commitment to Loveliness I am going to continue planning the meals for the week. (I'll post the first one next Monday) I am doing this for two reasons, one being it keeps me from trying to figure out what to cook every day; the other reason is that groceries have gotten sooo expensive ($4.69 for a gallon of milk!!) and I don't buy unnecessary items when I know exactly what I need. I don't know about the rest of you but I have just about had it with the price of groceries going up, due mostly to the rising cost of gas and don't even get me started about that.

We heard it months ago, gas would be at $4.00 a gallon by summer, and I guess I had to see it to truly believe it. I think this is insane, CNN News reported the steepest decrease in driving ever recorded. They've been keeping track since 1942.
