15 Spring Activities
These are some activities that I want to do with the boys this year. I'll post photos of the finished projects as they come. Some of the projects are things we do every year because the kids enjoy them so much--not to mention they're super easy!
1. Teach Ace how to sing all of Xristos Anesti and continue to teach Lucky how to do his cross properly.
2. See Venus with our telescope before she disappears.
3. Make birdseed pinecone feeders and watch it attract critters.
4. Make homemade kites and fly them.
5. Pack a lunch and visit the museum.
6. Bake soft homemade pretzels. Yum!
7. Make baked doughnuts.
8. Put seeds in a jar and watch them sprout.
9. Make salt dough beads.
10. Transplant our seedlings to the garden.
11. Make homemade butter.
12. Grow rock crystals.
13. Paint a wooden egg red for Ace's "Nono-Papa" to use on Pascha
14. Add new specimens and descriptions to our Nature Journal
15. Order caterpillars and chart their various stages of development as they transform into butterflies.
