This past weekend was a pretty busy one for us. A girlfriend I grew up with and hadn't seen since we graduated almost 12 years ago came with her family to visit on Saturday. It was so nice! The kids played and we had a great time catching up! Time really flies and it is always such a pleasure to see the children of friends I grew up with and to watch our kids play together. I can't wait to see them again!

Then on Sunday we had a small bridal shower for Maria, a friend of ours who is getting married in Cyprus this summer. We nibbled on lots of pick foods and desserts and played a bunch of games. I think the best part was when Maria asked all of the married couples to tell her something that we've learned while being married. She really received a treasury of information and I think we all enjoyed hearing and learning from one another. Maria and George will be getting married on Pentecost so keep them in your prayers that day!
