I've been spending my new year in the company of my family who came to visit. You might remember the pity party I threw for myself back in August when my baby sister was in the hospital having her first child. Well, on Saturday, I finally got to meet my darling niece who I am completely and utterly in love with.

We've been having a wonderful time together, as always picking up where we left off, like there were no months or miles between us. We have been creating new memories and sharing more laughter and tears, always strengthening the bond between us. It feels so good to have them around.
