Tim Tebow's Super Bowl Commercial

I seriously cannot believe some people had a problem with this commercial:

"Wow. Gloria Allred threatened to sue CBS over this? I wonder if she's embarrassed today," Tebow wrote after seeing the ad.

Seriously?? CBS received all those threats over those 32 seconds? I loved seeing Tebow promoting, not only a pro-life ad, but a healthy relationship with his mother. We have enough celebrities playing the role of the tough guy who has no feelings or fears, I think it's high time we have someone depicting a nice, clean-cut, all around good guy for kids to look up to. I thought the ad was fantastic.

It's amazing that the only ad the feminist organizations found offensive was the one promoting life. It's perfectly fine to portray women as oppressive wives, sex objects or airheads but heaven forbid women are encouraged to keep their unborn babies alive.... And perhaps someone could correct me but doesn't pro-choice mean they will support either choice a woman makes? Sure doesn't look that way, does it? But don't you dare call them pro-abortion--after all, it's not politically correct. Maybe they would have accepted it if Tebow's mom were wearing a bikini and serving beer. That would appropriately represent us as women, right?

I missed the beginning of the commercial during the Super Bowl but I did youtube it this morning and I really can't believe that there was such a fuss over it. Shame on them...ooh, I get so upset about this.

Check out Focus on the Family, the organization who sponsored Tebow's commercial, here. Be sure to watch the incredible interview with his parents!

**UPDATE: Check out this AWESOME article from a pro-choice advocate in defense of Tebow's harsh criticism and commercial! I encourage you to send Sally Jenkins, the author of the article, a few kind words of support.
