Here and there and everywhere...

Hey there, remember me? I can't believe it's been so long since we've last chatted. Needless to say, the last several months have been busy ones. With the new baby and the end of the school year and preparing for our vacation and and and...

So here we are halfway through summer.

We are still visiting my family in Ohio. Preparing for my brother's wedding and enjoying my new little niece (born 3 days before Sprout) and my big niece (not really so big, only 1 1/2) and all the rest of my family. We've been having a blast taking the kids to storytime and to the park for picnics. They've been reading like crazy in order to earn coupons to local fun spots like the roller skating rink and bowling from the local library's reading program. We also took them camping to Jellystone Park. The boys prepared for the trip by watching every episode of the first season of Yogi Bear. :)

It was a blast! With the two little ones, we didn't want to tent camp so we reserved a cabin. The boys loved the bunk beds and I loved that it was super clean! Yogi Bear wandered around the campground visiting campers, taking photos with the kids and even stealing the occasional pic-a-nic basket. He even pushed Lucky and Ace on the swings. They LOVED it!

My dad made sure to teach Ace all of his campfire tricks and carved each of them a special little toy out of sticks they found on our hike.
