Orthodox Mom Photo Challenge {september}

I've recently become more active on Instagram and when I posted my first few Orthodox photos, I received a lot of comments saying how nice it was to see "Orthodoxy on Instagram".   And I had to agree.  I love seeing photos of different quotes people post, or churches they've visited; I just think it's beautiful.I've also noticed the various photo of the day lists circulating the social networks lately, so I couldn't help but think how neat it would be to do an Orthodox photo challenge. Why not flood the internet with creative photos with an Orthodox flair?  I'm really excited about this!  Yes, I'm aware that I totally geek out sometimes but I can't help it.

So here's how this is going to go down.

  • The only "rule" is that the photos must be original.
  • You must use the tags for this to work.  Otherwise, your photos will just float in cyberspace.

If you're on Instagram or Twitter, I'm @ThePrude.  Tag me in your photos and use the #orthodoxmom hashtag.  If you're on Facebook, upload them to your profile page and tag me in them.  All month long, I'll showcase select photos.   The list is posted below.  Of course, not every photo will be be Orthodox per se, but the point is to incorporate photos of Orthodoxy in our everyday lives.Ready, set, click!You can also download the list here:  September Photo Challenge.  I can't wait to see all of your photos!!
