The Story of the Vasilopita + My Favorite Recipe

Happy New Year! I don't think I've ever been so anxious for a year to be over, lol. Though with so much uncertainty of us, I'm not too excited about 2021. Can anyone else relate? I'm pretty sure you can. One thing 2020 has definitely reminded all of us of, is to not take things, or people, for granted. In the blink of an eye, the whole world transformed. This makes me especially grateful for the rthym and life of our precious Orthodoxy Church.Tomorrow, a new year begins and we'll celebrate the life of St. Basil the Great. If you follow me on social media, you may know of my newest venture--the world of vlogging. I started a YouTube Channel called Cultivating Home, where I'll be sharing a lot of the same things I share here on Adventures of an Orthodox Mom, like recipes, books, and of course, how we keep our Orthodox traditions alive in our home. It's a place where I hope to share a more raw, and less curated, version of myself and our life. It also means I'll be updating this blog more often since I'll be creating content for my channel anyway. I hope you'll click over and subscribe so you can follow me along this journey.https://youtu.be/vd1yjfY9IycHappy 2021, friends. May it be blessed with joy, health and spiritual prosperity. As always, I'm grateful to God for His endless love and goodness and I'm grateful for each and every one of you. Kali Xronia!p.s. Khouria Destinie also created a beautiful St. Basil's Day guide. Check it out here.
