Resources for Great Lent

Great Lent is just around the corner! This past Sunday, we celebrated the first Sunday of the Triodion. I love this time of year so much. As soon as the tridion (three weeks before lent) begins, I feel the excitement inside of me start bubbling up.

Kontakion

“Let us flee from the boasting of the Pharisee and learn through our own sighs of sorrow the humility of the Publican. Let us cry out to the Savior, "Have mercy on us, for through You alone are we reconciled."

I’m not sure what this lenten season will look like, I certainly couldn’t have imagined last year looking the way it did, yet here we are. But just like every year, I’ll be sharing lots of different ways to keep motivated and encouraged. I’ve already linked my Lenten Study Guide and Lenten Meal Plan in the menu bar.

The study guide is a PDF that can be printed out each year that walks you through all of Great Lent with different weekly themes, stories and scripture verses to study and the Meal Plan has a ton of great recipes for you to try! Be sure to check both of those out!

I’ll also continue using the hashtag I created on Instagram last year, #lentenreciperoundup, which is a fantastic way to find lots of meal planning inspiration from so many different kitchens! I love scrolling through it, even on just Wednesdays and Fridays.

Psalter Group sign-ups will be posted next week, so keep an eye out for that and I have some fun videos planed for Cultivating Home!

If you haven’t checked out my Patreon page yet, you can do so here. Beginning March 8, I’m going to be sharing lots of videos, pdf’s and more to help you with your lenten journey this year. Once my social media break is over, I’ll be posting a poll on my Instagram to find out exactly what topics you’d like to discuss there! I have so many ideas for this page and I’m super excited about it! Thank you to those of you who’ve signed up already, I really appreciate it and am hoping to provide you with lots of great resources and inspiration!
