SEASON OF GIVING: St. Hermione Home
This Christmas season I’ve been busy organizing a campaign called the Season of Giving! The goal of this project is to try and help nearly 300 women and children in the Charlotte, NC area, who need your help to make their Christmas merry! 🙏🏼
The St. Hermione Home will be the first Orthodox shelter for women in the U.S. that provides for expectant mothers! 🙌🏽
St. Hermione Home (SHH) presently provides free medical care, bible studies, and prayer groups to a large number of homeless women residing in the Center of Hope in Charlotte, NC, until construction on the SHH is complete. 🏡
Every woman enrolled in the St. Hermione Home program will have the opportunity to pursue a 2-year college education in her preferred field. 💼
As Orthodox Christians, we are committed to providing a way forward for these, the most vulnerable in our society, homeless women who wish to give birth, by fighting homelessness with a safe home, education, and spiritual support. 🫶🏽

Some items are necessities, body wash, hand sanitizer, wash cloths, hats and scarves, etc., while other items are things they’ve asked for that may not be considered needs, but really are. A lot of times people in these situations simply want to feel “normal” again and want things like nail polish, hair ties, makeup, journals and pens. So, let’s give them to them!
Items are available at various price points and every single donation counts. If you’d like to get a more expensive lot of something, like hats, scarves, or warm socks, but can’t afford the entire thing, ask a friend or two to go in with you on it! I need all hands on board with this, so please consider helping these women out this Christmas season.
You can purchase as few or as many items as you’re able—every single donation counts! The items will automatically ship to me, where I’ll be putting together gift packages on your behalf to deliver to the shelter! Let’s work together to serve this incredible community of women! 🎁 🙏🏼✨
