American Idol - My Shephard? My Savior...OOHH My JESUS, My Saviour! That sounds more like it..

Ok, I have to admit that even though we don't have cable (we do have a small tv that we bring out to watch videos on though)I enjoy watching American Idol at our friends house. I had a problem this week though. I was watching the Give Back episode this week and they were singing the Christian song "Shout to the Lord" and something just didn't sound quite right. Hhhmmm...what's wrong with this song? OOOOH right, they took out the name of Jesus! I get it now, we have to be politically correct so they replaced the name of JESUS with SHEPHARD. So they're singing "My shephard, my saviour..." Here's a clip:

I get so annoyed with this stuff I just hope they understand that one day EVERY knee will bow to our Lord God and Saviour Jesus. EVERY knee. That means theirs too.

I'm not a huge Christian music listener, though there are some songs I really like and that happens to be one of them. I usually listen to country music if I'm listening to something secular (which I try not to do during Lent). What types of music do you guys listen to?
