Kraft Food & Family
Since we finished off the last of the pumpkin pie, it's time to bake a new fall treat and one of my favorite places to find delicious and simple recipes is Kraft Foods. Haven't been to their site? Well, let me offer you a little glimpse of what you're missing... I am obsessed their Food & Family magazine. Seriously, I think this is one of the best cooking magazines out and I recommend it to everyone I know. It used to be free but now they charge $13.98 for 4 issues, which I think totally stinks because I for one can't afford to subscribe. But at least I can check out the virtual version here: Browse through recipes by season, ingredient or type (entree, side, dessert, etc)! You'll love how easily you roll through each recipe and will drool over the photos of each scrumptious treat.See a recipe you love? Click on it and add it to your recipe box to save for a later time or add it to your shopping list. What shopping list you ask??I do not go grocery shopping without creating my shopping list through Kraft Foods. You can add the recipes you find on their site to your list and you can add any other items you need to pick up as well. The program automatically organizes their recipes on your list by department (you add the dept. for any items you add).It makes grocery shopping so much easier and I am out of there in half the time. I love. love. love. this feature.Planning a party? Hosting a dinner? Need a quick and easy dish for next Sunday's potluck dinner after church? Kraft Foods makes this simple and fun! Some of my favorite recipes from previous issues of Kraft Food & Family magazine:
- 20-minute Skillet Salmon with Cucumber Dill Sauce
- Almond Pear Cream Cheese Torte
- My kids *heart* these Dirt Cups
- 3-step Cappuccino Cheesecake
