Acorn Necklaces

Every year around this time Ace collects about a million acorns.  Needless to say we can never find enough things to do with them.   Then it happened.   I was browsing through posts over at the Crafty Crow and she had this genius idea posted from A Foothill Home Companion.  Hop on over there to see her tutorial!  

It's a very simple crochet pattern, even for beginners, and kids will love these!  I can't wait to make a few for Ace and his buddies.  They're always carrying their acorns around in their pockets, etc.  I even think I'll make a nature pouch for them to keep some of the other treasures they find around the yard this time of year.
